No. A PMSM uses permanent magnet synchronous operation and should be matched with a compatible inverter or drive system. A standard asynchronous motor, such as YE3, is a different motor path.

Yes. PMSM should be operated with a compatible inverter or drive system. Motor parameters, control mode, rated speed, voltage, and torque requirement should be matched before commissioning.

Yes. PMSM can be matched with Starshine reducers and geared motor packages. Motor frame, flange, shaft, rated speed, torque, inverter configuration, and reducer ratio should be confirmed together.

PMSM is an inverter-driven high-efficiency synchronous motor. YE3 is a high-efficiency asynchronous motor for standard industrial motor use. Use PMSM when high-efficiency variable-speed drive matching is required; use YE3 when a standard motor path is sufficient.

PMSM is the motor. SV200 is the frequency converter used to control motor speed and operating frequency. A PMSM drive package may require SV200 or another matched inverter.

Project data lists optional protection device, inverter, brake, and forced cooling fan directions. Higher protection levels, Class H insulation, IC416 cooling, and accessory requirements should be confirmed by model.
