Is JWB+NMRV a frequency converter?

No. JWB+NMRV is a mechanical speed-adjustment reducer combination. The speed adjustment is handled by the JWB-X mechanical variator, not by electronic frequency control.

What is the difference between JWB+NMRV and a standalone NMRV reducer?

A standalone NMRV reducer provides fixed-ratio right-angle reduction. JWB+NMRV adds a mechanical speed variator before the reducer, allowing the output speed to be adjusted within the selected operating range.

What is the difference between JWB+NMRV and JWB-X alone?

JWB-X provides mechanical speed variation. JWB+NMRV adds a worm gear reducer stage, providing additional reduction and right-angle output for compact machine layouts.

Can JWB+NMRV be used for low-speed output?

Yes, it is suitable when the application requires adjustable output speed and additional reduction through a worm gear reducer. Final low-speed output must be calculated from the JWB speed range and NMRV / RV ratio.

Can speed be adjusted while the machine is running?

The JWB-X variator section supports mechanical speed adjustment within the permitted operating conditions of the selected model. Final suitability should be checked according to load, torque, speed range, and duty cycle.

Can Starshine provide CAD files?

CAD files can be requested after the model, ratio, output shaft, mounting form, and reducer combination are confirmed.

Can this product replace my existing variator worm reducer?

Replacement should be checked by model code, input power, speed range, reducer size, ratio, output shaft diameter, mounting dimensions, and installation photos. A nameplate photo and drawing are recommended.

When should SV200 be used instead?

SV200 should be reviewed when the machine needs electronic speed control, programmable operation, motor protection, external signals, or automation control. JWB+NMRV is more suitable for direct mechanical speed adjustment.
